MASTERSIL SMP50 is a silane modified polymer technology with excellent UV Resistance. MASTERSIL SMP50 is isocyanate solvent free, fast curing, highly flexible and specifically designed for
semi structural bonding applications in the OEM transportation, automotive, vehicle assembly, marine, industrial and manufacturing industries.
MASTERSIL SMP50 displays excellent adhesion to many substrates common to the automotive and manufacturing sectors, such as metals, composites, thermoplastics and fibreglass. MASTERSIL SMP50 is specifically designed to achieve a high Shore A hardness once cured, creating a rigid, semi structural, high strength and flexible bond line between various substrates with lower dynamic movement With advanced chemical composition, MASTERSIL SMP50 has been manufactured to allow for “Primer less” bonding to difficult substrates while achieving a high level of chemical and salt water resistance.

MASTERSIL SMP50 has excellent adhesion to many substrates. Admil Adhesives always recommends to conduct “Pre-Adhesion” Tests on substrates to ensure adequate bond is achieved.

All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust, oil, rust, or any other contamination.

Metals should be cleaned with a non-oily solvent soaked clean cloth, such as PROSIL CLEANER 1. Excess solvent should be wiped from the surface with a clean dry cloth. When used on remedial work all existing sealant must be removed. In some instances further cleaning or etching maybe required.
